1. Open up the image you'd like to recolor in your Photoshop program.
2. Set the background color to white, and the foreground color to any color you'd like.
3. Go to >Image >Adjust > Gradient Map, click ok.
That's it! This can also be done with 2 colors, not just a color and white. Play around, get creative!
And as a little bonus (and for something to practice with), I've made up this set of Project Life Calendar Cards for you!

Nice quick tutorial and I love the cards, thanks... like how these are packaged :)
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome, enjoy!
DeleteThanks Leslie! I love the calendar cards but I love the accompanying tutorial even more! You mentioned coloring them with two colors, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Can you help me with this? Thanks so much! Briana
ReplyDeleteBriana,
DeleteSimply change the background color to...let's say...gray for example. Then follow the same steps. Everything that was black should turn turquoise, and everything that was white should turn gray.
Hope that helps!
Duh! That was easy! See, all I need is for someone to hold my hand, walk me through, and I'm good to go. Thank you, Leslie! :)
DeleteYou're welcome, glad it worked for you! Happy Recoloring! :)
