Not much to say this week, other than I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day, I know I did! My husband and my children spoiled me rotten...INCLUDING Mr. Mack. He slept from 10:30 - 5:45!!!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 18}

Only one day late this week...but I had SOOOO many pictures from Sunday to sift through that I knew I was going to be later getting these pages done and posted.

It was a wonderful weekend full of partying and family celebrations! This is always a crazy time of year for my family. Within 2 weeks we have had: 5 birthdays, 1 graduation, and 1 baby blessing. Whew! Not to mention throw National Scrapbooking Day in the mix, and...well...I feel like I've been running a million miles an hour. That's why my new products didn't get released last weekend. They're all in the shop now (finally), watch for a sale coming very soon!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEKS 16-17}

TOTALLY dropped the ball last week...and ALMOST dropped it this week too! Life took a turn for the crazier and I just didn't find time to get my pages blogged. They were done...don't worry! Just not posted. So here they are, weeks 16 and 17. I figured I'd better get them on here now before the craziness of this weekend starts! Not only is it iNSD, (so I'm busily working on some new PL stuff for that) but it's also my daughter's 7th birthday, AND we're blessing baby Mack at church. Needless to say we're going to be having QUITE the party around here this weekend!

And with that, I'm off to make some tissue paper balls for the party on Friday. :)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 15}

Not much to report this week...except that the Project Life "Baby Girl" Collection is just about finished! Watch for it later this week, along with LOTS of other new PL products...and a SALE! Yep, a big ole' Birthday Bash! Not only is it my birthday week, but April also marks the birthday of GG Digital Designs...we're going on 6 YEARS!! I can hardly believe it...

{MACK'S BABY ALBUM}

I've been busily working on getting Mack's baby album started using the "Baby Mine-Boy" Collection. I must say it has been a BREEZE getting this all put together. Definitely the only way this little guy will be getting a baby album! I have a cover page ready, but I decided that I'm going to fill it with pictures from his entire first year, so it won't be complete for quite a while! :) But here are his first 4 pages...with MANY more to come!

And here's his little birth announcement I made and sent to friends and family...okay...actually two of them. I loved them both, but ultimately ended up going with the first one to print.

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 14}

Sorry for the lack of posts lately...I'm sure it will pick up again soon. :) Trying to get in the groove and get a new routine going! Maybe...just MAYBE this week I'll be able to finish my baby pages for the first few weeks and also post pictures of Mack's finished nursery.

But for now, at least I'm keeping caught up on my PL pages...baby steps...right? ;)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 13}

A week full of Easter festivities! Dyeing eggs, hunting for eggs, and spending time with family...all in the beautiful springtime weather. I am definitely a fan of springtime...and it's not just because April is my birthday month! (although that does help a little...) :)

We are starting to adjust a little more to life with a new baby. The newness is wearing off for the kids (thank goodness...) but not for me yet, I can't get enough sweet snuggles! We are starting to find a new balance and sense of "normalcy". HUGE milestone this week, Mack slept for 6 and a half hours! Yep, practically through the night. I couldn't believe it. He's a little champ and treating his mama VERY well. :) Sorry I never got around to posting baby pages...maybe this week! :)

I've also got a new PL kit just about completed, so keep your eyes peeled. It will be hitting the digital shelves sometime later on this week!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 12}

Whew...I'm keeping my head above water! :) I knew that if I was going to stay caught up once baby came, Project Life was DEFINITELY the only way to go. So far so good, week 2 post baby is complete.

I was kind of at war with myself about these pages. I was feeling guilty that most of the pictures were of baby Mack, but I finally gave in and just left them. It's life. If I have more pictures of him, so be it. :)

Hopefully later this week I'll have some baby pages ready to share with you. I'm really excited with how the baby album is coming together already!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 11}

I'm going to be brief because I've got a new little baby waiting for me to snuggle him, but here are my pages for Week 11. Thank you for all of your comments and well wishes for me and the new babe, we couldn't be more thrilled with him, he's absolutely perfect in every way!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 10}

I was really hoping that I'd have some fun baby pictures to share with you today, but no such luck. I'm afraid this little one is going to be quite the teaser...just like his daddy! I thought he was coming Friday, then I thought he was coming on Saturday, but it's Monday and he's still not here. But Thursday is the day. I'm being induced on Thursday if he's not here before then, however I'm not crossing my fingers that he will be! :)

So here are my pages this week, pretty basic, but the memories are captured, and that's what's important! I also decided to do a little more journaling this week since my mind was racing with all sorts of different thoughts and emotions as baby day gets closer. :)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 9}

Whoa! Week 9 already? I can hardly believe it! I hope I can be as diligent in keeping up on this once baby comes as I am now!! :)

I've become a LITTLE bit more lazy about getting my Nikon out and just shooting with my iPhone. But hey, let's be real, when you're 8.5 months pregnant, it's just a LITTLE bit harder to want to get up and go grab it. I know...makes me sound like a TOTAL lazy bum...oh well. The energy will be returning shortly. :)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 8}

Wow...what a week!! To say the least I'm VERY glad to have that one over with and start fresh! And with a visit from my mom today to help take care of me (and put some finishing touches on the nursery) I'm sure it's going to be a great one. Aren't moms the best? :)

Nothing too fancy this week...but I'm just glad I got the pages DONE! Most of the pictures were taken with my phone this week, but taking into consideration how I felt, I'm just glad I had enough to document the week's happenings! Here's to a better Week 9!! (And hopefully some new products and freebies!!)

We had 2 big events this week, James' (my husband) birthday and Valentine's Day. I tease him every year and ask him why he decided to be born so close to Valentine's Day...it kind messes everything up! Haha! Then I'm reminded that it could be worse. His little brother was born on Christmas Day! So I'll take 2 days before Valentine's. :) Anyway, I was trying to decide how to document both of these picture heavy events in one week, and this is what I came up with. Watch for some templates and new collections coming soon! :)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 6}

It's a girls' prerogative to change her mind...right?

After I finished the month of January, I knew there was absolutely no way in the world I was going to be able to create an entire, year long album using one color scheme. NO.WAY. So I started to re-vamp my thinking and tried to decide exactly what I DID want to do. That's when I realized I probably needed to create a new collection for each month. I opted to keep it kind of themed for the holiday/season of the month. So for February I'll be using the "Sweetheart Collection".

However, this week (the actual week of Valentine's Day) I'll be using the February Mini Kit.

So here are my first February pages using the Sweetheart Collection. (All January pages were created using the "Matilda Collection" and "January Mini Kit").

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 5}

Whew, they're done! I kinda struggled with these pages, I'm not sure why. It wasn't for the lack of pictures...maybe it's because I had too many! Either way, I finally got them where I liked them and called it good. Talk about a busy week (for us). Hopefully this one is a little more low key. This pregnant body of mine isn't moving very quickly these days!

You'll notice that I have 2 calendar cards this week. That was the best way I could come up with to document the date since the week was split between January and February. If you have a more creative way, I'm ALL ears! :)

Also...see the QR codes? (the crazy black and white things that looks like...well...I'm not sure what they look like...) Anyway, watch for a tutorial on this coming soon! It's a GREAT way to add VIDEO to your pages! I blurred out the ones on the first page because that info is a little more personal...but if you'd like to see how it works, feel free to scan the second one with your smart phone! (you'll see what an 'awesome' basketball player my little Landon is, and hear my husband calling instructions from the stands!) :)

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 4}

I've had a couple of you ask me to share my thoughts on doing Project Life digitally, so I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on compiling some tips and tricks for you, so stay tuned! :)

Here's my Week Four. I decided to omit the green this week since it was such a COLD DREARY YUCKY WINTERY week. Green just didn't really seem to "fit". :) I really like how the pages turned out without it. And for those of you who may be wondering, I create all of my PL products from scratch, so there are no credits to be given. If you are ever interested in obtaining a certain element, just let me know!

{PROJECT LIFE - WEEK 3}

Week three is complete! I've tried to focus this week on getting out my Nikon and taking nice, quality pictures, not just snapping away with my iPhone. I've also tried being a little more creative with my photos, more than anything just to help me stretch myself and grow as a photographer. I've can't even TELL you how pleased I've been with the results. Also, I'm happy to report that I'm feeling like a new person. Still not 100% yet, but way better than Wednesday...when I really thought maybe I was on the brink of death. (okay, not really, but it was bad...) ;)

{PROJECT LIFE 2013}

I attempted Project Life last year. I haven't given up yet, but when I got pregnant, well, it kind of went by the wayside. First things first right? :) I think I'm somewhere around week 30. I've got all of the pictures (BELIEVE me I've got pictures!), it's just a matter of getting them into my "album". I say "album" because I'm a digital Project Lifer. None of that messy taping, glueing, sewing, and paper scraps for this gal! So even though last year is not yet complete, I decided not to let that stop me from starting this year!

A lot of my ideas have been taken from Susan Weinroth, I absolutely ADORE her style! However of course I've added my own personal touch. I'm really pleased with how it's coming together so far. I love the color pallet I've chosen. Blues and greens with a little touch of pink, for Miss Abbie and me! :)

And there you have it! Weeks one and two. Last year almost the entire year was captured on my iPhone. This year it's my goal to take my Nikon with me everywhere I go so I can capture the memories in high quality, plus I know it will help me improve my photography skills as well. Not that there won't be an occasional iPhone photo, but you get the idea! :)
